Humanising prosthetics with informed control and fit.

Developing a system and product to help lower limb amputees integrate better into their prosthetics in a future scenario. Utilising trend research to predict technology capability and changes in users' needs to drive the concept.

We looked specifically into transtibial (below the knee) amputees with Type 2 Diabetes, in lower economic backgrounds. The two part product and system targets painpoints people living with diabetes need to overcome to improve their experience and compatibility with prosthetics in 2055. The defined aim was to streamline the post-amputation to pre-prosthetic stage for our user group.
